Life is like an escalator

Life is like an escalator. 

Sometimes you are simply standing on an escalator, not bothering about the direction in which it is going, up or down. Then you are simply flowing with your destiny

Sometime you are climbing up in an escalator that is moving upwards. You are resourceful, enthusiastic and optimistic about life.

Sometimes you are climbing up, against the current, in an escalator that is moving downwards. You are a fighter, willing to work hard for success.

Sometimes you are moving down along with the escalator. You have given up in life and/or resigned to your fate.

Sometimes you are climbing down in an escalator that is moving upwards. You are being pessimistic and only preparing for failure. 

Life is an escalator, for it will anyway take you where you have to go even if you stand still. But the fun is in climbing up.
