Losing a loved one is an experience/event in
life that teaches you more than all the teachers of this world put together.
It first breaks your illusion about life,
brings you the truth about death,
trains you to face your fears,
forces you to discover your strengths,
makes you self-sustained, to be with yourself,
makes you think, and reflect,
prepares you for the vast unknown,
makes you a survivor,
makes you cold and warm at the same time.
You are just not the same anymore,
you may behave the same way,
laugh the same way,
talk the same way,
but deep down, you know,
you are just not the same.
Not anymore.
For you lose what threatens everyone.
Fear.
