A majority of humans on earth believe that they are in control of their
life's direction; that their actions alone decide what happens with them in
life. They refuse to believe in fate or an external force influencing their
life's events. To try and prove that fate (or an unseen supreme power) exists
and influences our lives. let us consider the fact that no one consciously ever
wishes for bad things to happen to them. Neither are their actions and efforts
focused towards negative outcomes. Each and everyone of us pray only for good
things for us and our dear ones. Likewise, we only indulge in those actions
that lead to our own betterment and good fortune. Yet, bad things do happen to
us. We meet failures despite the best and intelligent efforts. Does this not
disprove the fact that our actions alone are sufficient decide the direction of
our life? And hence, does it alternatively also not prove that something beyond
our understanding influence our life's events. You can call that unseen force
as fate or God or a supreme power. That is up to you. But you cannot refute the
theory though.
